Step-By-Step ProCheck User Guide
The ProCheck makes measuring your golf ball's compression rating as easy as a tap-in putt. Learn how to measure the health of your golf ball in these simple 6 steps.
Have Ball and ProCheck ready and Power On Device
Once you have your ProCheck and the golf ball you wish to test, press the Power Button to turn it on and wait for the screen to display "BALL".
Insert golf ball once "BALL" is displayed on screen
Once powered on and the screen displays "BALL", insert the golf ball. Once the ball is inserted, the screen should display "TRIGGER"
**NOTE**
Ensure that the golf ball's logo is facing straight-up in-between the arrows on the device. See later steps for visual aid.
Once "TRIGGER" is displayed, squeeze the back trigger
Once Step 2 is complete, and the screen displays "TRIGGER", squeeze and release the back trigger until the screen displays, "R".
Wait for "R" to display on screen
Once "R" is displayed on the screen, press and release the "R" button on the device to initiate the compression test.
The compression test is now underway and will display a reading momentarily.
Read the compression rating on the device
Once Steps 1-4 are complete, there will be a compression rating displayed on the screen ranging from 1-8 bars.
1 bar = very soft ball
8 bars = very firm ball
Scan QR code and search for your ball in the ProCheck Database
Once you have the compression rating, scan the provided QR code and search for your golf ball in the ProCheck database. You can also access the Database by clicking above.
If your ball's rating matches up with the rating we have in our database, then that golf ball is still healthy!
If your ball's rating doesn't match, then that ball's inner-core has been altered or damaged, which produces inconsistency in performance.
